With over 30 years of excel spreadsheet experience, designing and extending sheets, sometimes just providing a sounding board to people who are trying to get things done and helping people learn on their Excel journey, William Blamey has used the principles of good design and foresight to accomplish many business goals by fixing forecasting, risk analysis and planning spreadsheets. He has designed, fixed and seen thousands of spreadsheets, including ones used to run billion dollar businesses and launch new ventures. Much can be achieved with a spreadsheet, including the basics of mathematical modelling, data science, AI and machine learning, without the expense of building a dedicated system.

Many small and medium size businesses grow organically. In that growth a number of critical business functions are modelled with important data and the results are stored in spreadsheets.
